Steel and Wood Sliding Gate with Built in Pedestrian Gate - Video With bottom half in Balau tongue and groove slats and the top half with steel bars this sliding gate was also made with a built in pedestrian gate with a cylinder deadlock. This gate runs on the outside of the property and has full portals with double rollers, anti lift and a padlock tab. Automation is with a Centurion D5 Smart complete with surge protector, anti theft bracket and smart beams.
Multi Story Fire Escape 1 - Video
AA multi story steel fire escape staircase 9m high with walkways and landings on each level. The lower part of the staircase was enclosed with clear view and some razor spikes for security to prevent access from criminal elements from the outside.
Wooden Sliding Gate 2 - Video One of Blue Engineering’s signature style wooden gates with steel frame and our unique Balau tongue and groove timber slats installed with full portals that have anti-lift thereby offering full security when the gate is closed. This was a bit of a tricky installation to do with a 2ft thick rock wall, our solution has worked well and looks good along with a mid mounted Centurion D5 Smart to automate the gate including anti theft bracket, smart beams and a surge protector. Along the top of the gate there is an 8 line electric fence complete with contact. To close the gap of the 2ft rock wall we have put an access gate to allow access to the motor to disengage in the event of total power failure.

This telescopic gate is 12m long and opens or closes in 11 seconds and closes into a space of 4.5m.
Telescopic gates are used when the opening is larger than the space that the gate needs to move into when opening and so is a good solution when you have a space problem and where a traditional sliding gate will not work.
